Small Maquette for Livingston New Town Sculpture Competition, 3:100 Scale
CR 305
Kinkell, Scotland
August, 1974
Copperclad wood
Height 18 inches
Today we gave a great deal of thought to the sculpture competition involving myself and three others for a piece 50 metres high at Livingston New Town. Decided on a pyramid - flirted with stone and Cor-Ten as a medium; finally we thought of slates! This solves incidence on surface and would be far out. I started making a wooden model.
